Biography

Morgan Gray, MSLIS is a PhD student at the School of Information advised by Dr. Megan Threats focusing on health informatics and human-computer interaction. Morgan is especially interested in information accessibility and its impacts on individual and public health outcomes. 

Morgan received their Bachelor of Arts degrees in Voice and History from Lee University in Cleveland, TN in 2013 and completed their M.S. LIS at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2021. While completing their studies at UIUC, they engaged in survey research regarding the information seeking needs and behaviors of endometriosis patients.

Before joining the Health Justice Informatics Lab, Morgan worked in corporate libraries in many sectors.
