Biography
Pema Lama is a graduate student studying health informatics at the University of Michigan. She is interested in studying the impact of social determinants of health, and leveraging technology to improve healthcare management and health outcomes.
​
Pema studied Sociology and Anthropology during undergrad, and has several years of experience working on healthcare research. She currently works as a part time research associate at Michigan Medicine, and is working to improve the delivery of care within intensive care units.
